Dear Sir: Your company put a new roof on my home in August 1989. When it rains hard, I could hear a drip in an upstairs bedroom, and see some damage to a patch of ceiling. I called your firm to have someone come out and check the roof, stating that it was not an emergency. Later the same day, two nice you men came and fixed the leak. They waited until I returned home to tell me what they had done. They climbed up onto the roof to check it again after I described the problem further. Dear Andy: Please share my commendations and thanks to your employees on the job they completed on my home at 105 Guild, NE. The team, led by Jason, did an excellent job during the tear off phase, laying down the new product, knocking off the troublesome chimney, maintaining a clean and safe worksite, and in the general cleanup phase. All of your staff were very polite, respectful, good communicators, and paid attention to detail. This kind of work is never routine and they took care of each challenge with diplomacy and a good attitude. This is a courtesy letter to tell you I have made my decision on a roofer. I have chosen Weatherhead and Sons for the following reasons: 1) Their reputation is good; 2) They are in my neighborhood and I like to give my business to local business if their work warrants it; 3) The owner is a fellow parishioner and I would like to give my business to give my business again if their work warrants it; 4) They use their own crew and don’t use fill in workers; 5) Whatever roofing is removed is covered the same day so it is never unprotected; 6) They did not give the highest quote or the lowest quote, they were in the middle and I receive the roofing of my choice; 7) Safety is a real issue with them and their workers are insured. Dear Andy: Your crew did an excellent job putting a new roof on my home! What my wife and I thought was going to be a nightmare, turned out to be a great experience! All of my wife’s flowers were protected nicely! Your crew even made sure the old paper wraps didn’t blow in the wind. They cleaned up after their day’s work, and before they took lunch…I mean cleaned up! Like they were hardly there! My neighbors were really impressed too.
